Docu installation
This docu-installation offers an intimate and existential portrayal of the lives of thirty individuals across thirty different cities. Part-anthropology, part-memoir, “Yawn” is a poignant profile of those who have touched Patricia’s soul and left a lasting impact on her own unique path.
Building on her background as a Creative and Commercial Director in Fashion and Advertising, Patricia Gloum turns the lens inward to create her most intimate work to date. In a time when our primal human needs to connect and maintain closeness have been historically challenged, the Artist draws us deep in to the sleeping, waking and morning rituals of 30 people who have touched her soul. Shot in 30 bedrooms in 30 cities, from 2017 through the pandemic, Yawn is an infectiously affectionate portrait of a world emerging from a dream

Artist: Patricia Gloum (b. 1988)
Limited edition of 5 Digital Collectible Artworks, accompanied by a small archival print of the artist’s choosing.
These 5 Digital Collectible Artworks were created in 2018 by Patricia Gloum as part of "The Yawn" project. They offer an artistic reinterpretation of morning yoga facial exercises, utilizing real human subjects sourced from Instagram ads and transforming them into pixel art pieces. These artworks complement the broader study of "The Yawn" project, adding a playful perspective and interactive element to the exploration of individual morning rituals in the awakening process.
